Help Needed for Remembrance Day Service - Nov 10th

Douglas Park will be hosting a Remembrance Day ceremony at the school on Thursday, November 10. Our committee is looking for any current or past military, RCMP, or City Police officers that would be willing to volunteer to march in our Colour Party during our ceremony. Cadets, Scouts, Cubs, Beavers, Guides and Brownies are also welcomed. Please contact your Carolyn Caul (email carolyn.caul@rbe.sk.ca) if you are available on that day and/or if your son/daughter would like to be a part of our ceremony.  Thank you.

Fire Prevention Week 2022

SEPTEMBER 28, 2022 -- The 100th anniversary of Fire Prevention Week is October 9 to 15, 2022, and the theme is "Fire won't wait. Plan your escape." Today's homes burn faster than ever. You may have as little as two minutes (or even less time) to safely escape a home fire from the time the smoke alarm sounds. Your ability to get out of a home during a fire depends on early warning from smoke alarms and advance planning.
