Thank you to the SCC for hosting the Arts & Culture Talent Show on April 12th!  We appreciated all the students and staff who performed or displayed their artwork.  Thanks to the many families who attended to support this event!

Monday, April 24th Day 2

-8:00 AM Practice for Lead roles in the musical

-Safety Patrol Teams – TEAM #4

-Ensemble rehearsal at noon

Tuesday, April 25th Day 3

-TCBY sales for LC1 at noon $3.00 each

-Grades 6-8 Intramurals at noon

-Full Band at Balfour Collegiate in PM for Grades 6-8

-Ensemble rehearsal at noon & after school

-Mr. Wagner’s Grade 4’s to Miller High School in PM:  Sask Geological Society’s “Uranium Resources in Saskatchewan” workshop

Wednesday, April 26th Day 4

Today is Adminstrative Professionals Day… thanks to Ms. Tamez for everything!

-8:00 AM Practice for Lead roles in the musical

-ROAR at noon

-Grades 6-8 Intramurals at noon

-1:15 Grade 7’s (Mr. Warner/Mrs. Myrah and Ms. Dumelie’s) to LAC for Canoeing

-Students in the DC Program to the Floral Conservatory

-Mrs. Yuhasz/ Ms.Stauch’s Grade 1’s to the Humane Society

Thursday, April 27th Day 5

-TCBY sales for LC3 at noon $3.00 each

-Grades 6-8 Intramurals at noon

-Grade 7 & 8 Band Tour day

-PreK Family day at the Science Centre

-Ensemble rehearsal at noon & after school

Friday, April 28th Day 1:

-Twin Day (jeans and a black shirt will be the standard Twin Day outfit so everyone has a twin!)

-Learning Assembly at 2:30

-Grade 6 Band Sectionals here

-Ms. Stauch’s last day.  We wish her all the best in her career in education!

In the upcoming weeks…

May 1st:  9:00 Grade 7’s (Mr. Brown & Mr. Martinson’s) to LAC for Canoeing;  Grade 4/Mrs. Simons are on a trip to Save On Foods at 1:15; Newsletter to go home/posted online

May 2nd:  Artshow at the RBE division office at 6:30 PM; ROAR performing at the art show as well; Grade 3/Mrs. Fraser Exploring Cultures presentations at 3 PM

May 3rd:  Grade 8 Farewell Photos with Murray Rosin from Cornerstone Photography

May 4th:  Mr. Wagner’s Grade 4 class on an all day outdoor field trip; students in the DC Program are going to the Sask Sports Hall of Fame in PM

May 5th:  No school for students in DC program – IIP meetings

May 10th:  Mrs. Fraser’s last day with us… we appreciate her time here at DP and wish her all the best!  SCC AGM and meeting at 6:30

May 11th:  Grade 6 band concert here at 10 AM and tour; grade 6 Band tour day; Welcome back to Mrs. Montague!

May 12th:  Ms. Carnochan’s last day with us… we appreciate her time here at DP and wish her all the best!  Mrs. Yuhasz’s grade 1 Mother’s Day tea at 1 PM

May 14th:  Happy Mother’s Day!
