Douglas Park School is a vibrant community with approximately 350 students and 40 teaching and support staff.  Our school was chosen to be a demonstration site for structural innovation in the spring of 2009.  During the 2009-2010 school year, our staff is continuing work to improve the achievement of all students by focusing on balanced literacy and numeracy, flexible instructional groupings, inquiry based teaching and learning, and collaborative teaching practices.  We will be monitoring our progress through value added assessment devices and other division and provincial assessments.  For more information about structural innovation in Regina Public Schools, follow this link:
